Project for EArly Childhood Health (PEACH) aims to increase fruit and vegetable consumption among children aged 5 and under, and create positive attitudes about healthy behaviors for those children and their families. The National Kidney Foundation of Michigan will partner with area Head Start Grantees, Great Start Readiness Programs, local childcare centers, and area Great Start Regional Resource Centers to implement existing health education programs, and will work with community grocery stores to increase access to fresh produce for program participants.
