Adoption Option is requesting funding to work with a trained consultant to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). The EOS is a system of tools and strategies that help small and medium sized businesses turn their current operating practices into structured, teachable tasks that help improve productivity, accountability, and scalability for future growth. The EOS system will allow Adoption Option to expedite training of new staff, give staff greater clarity about their role and level setting expectations, improve recruitment and retention, and better insulate from the loss of intellectual capital that could otherwise result from the departure or retirement of one or more key staff members in a sector with high turnover. In turn, this will increase the sustainability of the organization and improve the direct services to children and families engaged with Child Protective Services due to an increased focus on metrics and accountability leading to more efficient services.
