The Safe Food=Healthy Kids project will reduce the incidence of foodborne illness in young children by increasing the use of safe food handling practices and food safety techniques in childcare settings. At least 100 childcare providers will participate in food safety education initiatives and will receive monthly text messages to reinforce food safety messages.
