Ruth Ellis Center (REC) is seeking support to develop a revenue model for their training institute. After eight years of progressive growth, the greatest challenge REC faces is maintaining a healthy cash flow and operating balances which has led to a need for an earned income strategy. The Institute provides fee-for-service consulting, training, and coaching to individuals, organizations, and systems of care that desire to build safety and well-being for the LGBTQ children and youth they serve. The Institute staff has developed 36 training, consulting, and coaching products that are ready to deliver to the human service sector locally, statewide, and beyond through a learning management system developed by Social Current. Through this funding, REC will develop a detailed business strategy and a plan to launch these services virtually and in an e-commerce environment. The McGregor Fund is also providing support for the earned income strategy.
