Holy Cross Services (HCS) will implement the Parent Partner program, a behavioral health intervention designed to help children in foster care reunify safely and more quickly with their families. The project will train parent partners, adults with lived experience as a parent who has regained custody of their child and who has lived experience with behavioral health needs, to provide support for parents on the road to reunification. By using peer-led services, evidence-based interventions, intensive clinical supervision, and behavioral health supports and training for the workers and foster families involved in each child’s case, this project aims to improve parent access to the behavioral health system, and thereby improve outcomes for children in foster care.
