The goal of this project is to improve the health, well-being, and productivity of college-bound and college students in Washtenaw County who are currently in or who have aged out of the foster care system, as well as youth who have experienced “broken” adoptions or “broken” guardianships. In partnership with Eastern Michigan University’s MAGIC (Mentorship Access Guidance in College) and Washtenaw Community College’s REACH (Realizing Educational Achievement Can Happen) programs that support foster youth, Ozone House will provide comprehensive trauma-informed mental/behavioral health services to students in the project.
