This project supports community-led food sovereignty efforts among Black, Indigenous, and communities of color by engaging 200 individuals within the food space and 50 food councils around the state through outreach and programming. POC-based food sovereignty initiatives are invited to build relationships, given customized consultant and staff support, and offered small “seed” grants to enhance their progress or education. The project also supports a food systems leadership program and monthly network support sessions.
