The Keep It Movin’ (KIM) program will address LGBTQ health disparities in hypertension, diabetes, and obesity. KIM will bring together nutrition and physical activity partners across Southeast Michigan to create an initiative that will prioritize long-term LGBTQ+ health. The second phase will implement physical activity interventions to increase participation in regular exercise. The third and final phase will be disseminating program outcomes to other providers, further developing a supportive network of nutrition and physical activity interventions for the LGBTQ+ community in Southeastern Michigan.
