Past Grants

To expand access to culturally responsive maternal care, the Ingham County Health Department will strengthen and support a network of Black doulas through training, peer support, and systems integration. Building on prior efforts, the project will offer postpartum doula training, establish a Black Doula Collective, and collaborate with healthcare providers and hospitals to increase referrals, improve reimbursement, and institutionalize doulas as part of the maternal care team.
