Past Grants

Orchards Children’s Services (Orchards) will implement the Healing in Wayne project to expand access to the evidence-based treatment model, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for children in foster care who experience trauma. EMDR is a renowned treatment model that is reimbursable through Medicaid and private insurance but is not widely used because of the high training cost. Orchards will expand access to EMDR specifically for the foster care target population who often face other socioeconomic factors and social determinants of health that limit treatment options.
