This project will incorporate community feedback and engagementinto shaping community-centric nutrition and meal preparation classes, a pop-uprestaurant that residents can frequent to increase access to fresh and healthyfoods, and food safety education to reduce and prevent foodborne illnesses.Ultimately, this program will address the local need for increased access tohealthy, fresh food in one Flint community and the lack of educational resourcesavailable to residents, while working towards a mission of creating a communityengaged in health.
