High turnover among direct care workers (DCWs) has created inconsistent care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and older adults in foster care, necessitating targeted workforce solutions. This project will conduct focus groups to identify factors contributing to job dissatisfaction and develop a pilot program aimed at improving retention and job satisfaction, ultimately enhancing care quality for vulnerable populations.
