Detroit’s youth are facing escalating mental health challenges, with nearly half experiencing anxiety, depression, or trauma exacerbated by exposure to violence and poverty, along with limited access to services. This project aims to bridge these gaps by empowering youth and service providers through training, community-based support, and the establishment of a Learning Community of Practice, which fosters collaboration and equips professionals with skills to better address mental health issues while also managing their own stress.
