The Detroit Community Outreach and Overdose Prevention (CO-OP) Project is a technology-based campaign utilizing an array of interventions to reduce opioid-related deaths in Detroit. This project has three focus areas: clinician education, a public education campaign, and community empowerment. Some examples of the proposed activities include providing web-based and in-person education to prescribers, creating an interactive map of substance abuse resources in the target area, and coordinating naloxone administration training among community members.
