Past Grants

Beaumont Health, in collaboration with Wayne State University and Dearborn Public Schools, will use the Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) model to address rising obesity rates among K-8 students. The WSCC model acknowledges how the complex intersections of child, family, and school communities impact student health. This project will work to facilitate healthy attitudes and behaviors among students, support a healthy home environment, and create a healthy school environment that encourages physically active and health literate children.
