The TRAILS Program improves access to mental health care for Michigan youth by training and supporting school mental health professionals, equipping them with the tools and resources to utilize evidence-based behavioral health care strategies with students experiencing anxiety and depression. This grant supports the expansion of the TRAILS program in all Detroit Public School K-12 buildings and the development of a parent education and outreach curriculum, a student peer-to-peer programming protocol, and web-delivered student support resources.
