MCNCA has experienced a surge in Child Advocacy Centers (CACs) directors resigning due to burnout and organizational challenges, prompting an initiative to enhance leadership capacity and wellbeing for CAC directors. This multifaceted approach will address burnout and the threat of closure or service reductions by empowering directors with trauma-informed tools and strategies and engaging board members in governing CACs through a trauma-informed lens to foster sustainable leadership and mission-aligned decision-making.
