Vista Grande Villa and community partners will develop a comprehensive plan for the implementation and perpetuation of a community garden and produce distribution system serving Jackson County economically disadvantaged seniors and disenfranchised youth. The intergenerational community garden will promote healthy lifestyles in seniors and youth by increasing access to, appreciate for, and consumption of fresh produce throughout the year and reduce social isolation among seniors.
