Past Grants

Jewish Family Services of Washtenaw County and community-based partners will increase community volunteer opportunities by using video-based technology to reach older adults in their homes. Volunteers will use the platform to have a friendly visit, check-in, or phone reassurance with a participant, which may reduce social isolation among homebound seniors and provide respite opportunities for the primary caregiver.
