The University of Michigan and community partners from the Michigan Community Health Worker Alliance and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will develop a series of digital educational modules on oral health for community health workers (CHWs) and certified peer support specialists (CPSSs) in Michigan. The project addresses a significant gap in training, as there are no current educational modules designed to improve the oral health knowledge and skills of CHWs and CPSSs.
