Past Grants

The Healing Heroes interactive mobile phone application will help young adults with substance use disorders involved in Drug Courts realign thinking from “victim” to “life changing purpose” and increase retention in treatment for addiction. Kids Kicking Cancer will work closely with Michigan Drug Courts to customize the app to meet the needs of individuals struggling with opioid use disorder (OUD) in Michigan’s justice system. Following development of the app, individuals in OUD treatment will be provided access to the resource as an additional tool used to motivate and retain individuals in treatment.
