United Methodist Community House (UMCH) will begin a marketing campaign for a new Fresh Market in Southeast Grand Rapids where few options for fresh, affordable, healthy food currently exist. The campaign will increase their ability to reach mixed-income shoppers, improve their online shopping platform, diversify delivery options, pilot nutrition programming, and develop an evaluation plan. Ultimately, this will help UMCH diversify revenue streams and reduce dependence on philanthropy by leveraging a social enterprise model.
