This funding will eliminate National Dementia Minds’ current capacity barrier by developing a blended learning experience for new support team members. The blended learning will include online on-demand resources and instruction available 24/7. It will include approximately 40 hours of instruction including journals and scholarly articles, interactive quizzes, journals and prompts to inspire reflection, thought provoking blogs, articles, and video presentations by persons living with dementia; live virtual coaching as learners practice newly acquired knowledge through facilitation of groups of persons living with dementia; and ongoing support and consultation from the NCDM executive director, seasoned support team members and persons living with dementia.
