This project aims to address the significant racial and economic disparities faced by young Black men in Benton Harbor, where nearly half of the population lives in poverty and suffers from poor health outcomes. By recruiting a community health worker to provide outreach and support services, the initiative will connect participants to healthcare, education, and workforce development, while hosting wellness workshops and family events to enhance overall well-being and improve health outcomes in a sustainable, community-driven manner.
