This project will pilot virtual wellness and support groups and interventions for the trans and gender diverse community (TGD) in Michigan, addressing gaps in trans-affirming options for mental health care. With support from community organizations and members, healthcare professionals, and researchers, the project will design and pilot four online telehealth peer support groups and connect individuals with local therapists, or in the absence of TGD-affirming providers, provide a network of mental health clinicians that can provide remote teletherapy.
