To address the shortage of specialized behavioral health services for youth in West Michigan, Pine Rest will launch a Pediatric Psychiatric Urgent Care Clinic (PUCC) pilot. By offering same-day access to behavioral health professionals, evening hours, and streamlined scheduling, the initiative aims to provide prompt, specialized care for children and youth, supporting provider recruitment, staff training, and electronic health record enhancement.
