Past Grants

Ottawa Community Schools Network (OCSN), an organization that connects students and their families to health and community supports, is seeking support to work with an evaluation consultant to develop fidelity and outcome measures, as well as participate in leadership training for their executive team. OCSN is in a stage of change and growth and is expanding to provide integrated mental health, wellness, and social services from 15 schools to all schools in Ottawa County. Working with Ottawa County Department of Public Health’s Strategic Impact Department, OCSN will develop an evaluation strategy that will inform decision making, communication, reporting, and funding strategies as the organization expands. This will allow OCSN to explore diversified funding sources and clarify their role in the community, something they currently struggle to clearly communicate. OCSN is also currently undergoing a leadership transition as their assistant director has recently moved into the director role and will participate in the Michigan Association of School Administrator’s Horizon Leadership Academy, which will provide her with the skills and training she needs to support her staff and work with local schools.
