Past Grants

The goal of the project is to see the Mother Nurture Lactation College (MNLC) through the complex process of accreditation and enrollment to become the first academic lactation training program in Michigan and in the Midwest region. Through development of the affiliation relationship between Henry Ford College and Ascension SE Michigan, this final phase will build financial sustainability for the MNLC. Its intent is to disrupt a system that has contributed to shortages, workforce uniformity, and poor outcomes for our most vulnerable citizens. These new consultants are in high demand by programs throughout the state, including WIC programs.
