Past Grants

The goal of the HEAL project is to address the root causes of health and economic disparities in three of Kalamazoo’s core neighborhoods (Northside, Eastside, Edison) by cultivating a two-generation healthy living hub for residents and families. The project builds from NACD’s successful job training and financial literacy work in the Northside neighborhood which will be brought to the East and Edison neighborhoods and adding health, nutrition, and fitness programming to the scope of their work.
