Past Grants

American Cancer Society will partner with Macomb Community Action’s Meals on Wheels, area hospitals, and the Macomb County Health Department to increase the colorectal cancer screening rates in older adults. This program will integrate cancer screening into meal delivery and distribution services to address the common barriers to completing a colorectal cancer screening, including transportation, needing a companion to accompany the patient, a day to prep for the procedure, and a day for the procedure and recovery.
