To address the significant risk of postpartum depression and anxiety among low-income and minority women, CHASS is enhancing existing programs and introducing new initiatives in Southwest Detroit. CHASS plans to expand their evidence-based ROSE Program (an intervention to prevent postpartum depression) and enhance their Doula Program by utilizing dual bilingual CHW doulas to improve birth outcomes and target Black and Latina women in the community.
