Implementation of a community-based doula program targeting Medicaid-eligible pregnant women in Bay and Saginaw counties. Culturally relevant training for local doula recruits to eventually provide non-clinical emotional, physical, and informational support to marginalized, low-income women with preexisting comorbidities.
