To improve maternal and infant health outcomes in Genesee County, the Daddy as a Doula (DAD) program will train fathers to serve as non-professional doulas for their partners. Through a culturally relevant, doula-adjacent model led by InvolvedDad and other partners, the initiative will teach comfort techniques, advocacy, and postnatal care to 50 fathers over two years, strengthening family support systems in underserved communities.
