In the 2020 Community Health Impact program, the Health Fund awarded a capacity building grant to the Community Food Club (CFC) to pursue a consulting partnership that provided strategic support for launching future Food Club replication partners across the state. The CFC now has a formal framework and process by which new agencies may adopt the Food Club’s established model and practices. This proposal is the second phase of this work aimed to serve food insecure families by establishing food clubs in communities that have a high incidence of food insecurity. Building upon their developed replication strategy, the CFC will partner with nonprofit agencies in Jackson and Muskegon to launch two pilot Food Clubs.
