To reduce prenatal cannabis use in Michigan, Michigan State University (MSU) will conduct a study and develop a cannabis education toolkit for health professionals. The project will identify barriers to managing pregnancy-related symptoms without cannabis, train community health professionals on evidence-based harm-reduction strategies, and implement a pilot intervention through two local health partners to provide additional counseling and prenatal care for pregnant individuals using cannabis.
