Birth Detroit will hire a public relations consultant to help with strategy, dissemination, media buys, campaign placement, and design direction. The vision for success for this project includes increased public awareness about what community-based birth and midwifery care is, why it is beneficial forMichigan birthing people and families, how the public can advocate for and access it in Detroit, and how birth justice advocates can move forward with policy conversations.
