This proposal would provide basic caregiver education as well as information to help cope with the daily pressures associated with caregiving. Funds for this initiative will be used to bring nationally recognized training to the Upper Peninsula. Once the curriculum has been purchased and the train-the-trainer model implemented, the program can be sustained through respite funds provided through the Older Americans Act.
