Past Grants

In 2019, the Health FUnd awarded a grant to the Michigan Department of Education to scale a small pilot program to bring families of two Michigan school districts to full food security status. This next phase of the project will continue to build the healthy food systems within each targeted school community and take it one step farther by building direct partnerships between schools, health providers, businesses, community action agencies, faith-based communities, and social service organizations.
