The goal of this program is to greatly improve the identification rates of youth, ages 11-18, who struggle with depression, suicidality, potential substance abuse concerns, and other mental and behavioral health issues, all within a primary care context, using a peer to peer model. This program aims to address these sensitive, under-serviced areas in adolescent health by improving the way primary care providers interact with adolescent healthcare and the necessary supplemental mental and behavioral follow-up.
