Past Grants

Since 2021, MCHS has engaged over 200 households in Northwest Detroit to identify community needs related to mental health and recreational services, informing the development of The Center for Family Health and Wellness, set to open in 2025. The Maintaining Community Voice (MCV) Project will prioritize community input throughout the center’s implementation, offering services such as outpatient care and crisis support while actively involving community advisory boards and partnerships to address health disparities and enhance service delivery.
