The Muskegon Community Health Innovation Region (Muskegon CHIR) is requesting support to implement a participatory process to create a holistic, systematic map of the food system serving Muskegon Heights. This project aligns with the 2022 Nutrition and Healthy Lifestyles grant to the Community Food Club of Grand Rapids to expand their program to the Muskegon area and is an important step toward further identifying the gaps in food access for Muskegon Heights residents and tailoring a Community Food Club model to meet the unique needs of the community.
