Past Grants

This proposal builds on a 2021 capacity building grant where Challenge Mountain completed a study to determine the feasibility of a capital campaign to renovate the lodge for accessibility and purchase equipment necessary to expand their programs. The feasibility study concluded that Challenge Mountain would be successful in raising between $900,000 – $1,500,000 based on interviews with potential donors. The findings also included recommendations on next steps: 1.) completing a community-engaged planning process to develop the campaign strategy and future direction of the organization, 2.) board training, and 3.) creating messaging and a strategy around future fund development. Challenge Mountain is requesting support to complete these activities prior to launching a capital campaign.
