Munson Healthcare and Shape Up North (SUN) will pilot a modified version of the Prescription for Health program from Washtenaw County for children who have been diagnosed by their doctor as being overweight/obese and/or food insecure and their families. After conducting a survey, recruiting participants, and running assessments, Munson will modify the current model to fit the needs of the community, pilot, evaluate, and assess program and participant outcomes.
