To support older homeowners in Washtenaw County and address affordable housing needs, the Washtenaw Housing Alliance will launch a Shared Housing Program that matches vetted renters with older adults, enabling them to age in place longer. This initiative aims to remove barriers to aging in place, improve financial stability, and foster social connections, while providing affordable housing options to the community.
