This project will improve outcomes for children in foster care by increasing access to mental health treatment and providing additional supports to families at the onset of a placement. A new Placement Support Specialist will work with each child and family to ensure that they receive the support and access to services that they need for successful placement, preventing multiple moves that further traumatize children.
