Past Grants

This project aims to reduce opioid overdose deaths in Detroit by training potential citizen first responders to recognize and respond to overdose situations and administer a drug that can reverse overdose symptoms. This project was funded under a collaborative funding mechanism supported by the Michigan Health Endowment Fund, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Foundation, the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, and the Superior Health Foundation.
