This initiative addresses the health disparities faced by aging Muslim Americans, due to racial and religious discrimination. By leveraging a Participatory Asset Map and forming community-driven working groups, the project aims to identify barriers to accessing care, enhance resource awareness, and disseminate valuable information to improve access to culturally relevant care and resources, fostering positive change in health outcomes and serving as a model for other Muslim communities in Michigan.
