MI AIM seeks to reduce disparities in maternal morbidity and mortality by assuring access to consistent healthcare for all birthing families through the implementation of evidence-based patient safety bundles and data-driven quality improvement initiatives in the 10 birthing sites across the state with the lowest performance and greatest opportunity. Funding will support the chosen hospitals in training, guidance, and monitoring to fully implement MI AIM procedures.
