To fill a gap in post-hospital recovery for unhoused individuals, a medical respite program will be co-designed with clinical, housing, and community partners in northern Michigan. The initiative will offer safe recovery spaces, reduce avoidable readmissions, and integrate trauma-informed care through a multidisciplinary workgroup and patient advisory panel.
