Past Grants

The goal of this pilot project is to positively influence the long-term health of children by promoting opportunities for physical activity and health-oriented education. The program will highlight: 1) incorporating curriculum and financial resources to reestablish an emphasis on physical activity during childcare; 2) continued distribution of healthful and nutrient dense foods by providing an additional surplus food distributions; and 3) implementation of short, evidence based educational and community & family recreation events.
